Prayer at Hunter's Creek
Community Church
We believe that God mightily answers prayer. We seek to involve
prayer in all of our ministries and decisions so that God can
work in our lives and through our service in great ways.
We'd be glad to pray for your needs

Here are our latest prayer
requests:
Daily Prayer Requests
|
Sunday/Monday:
Ask God to place a desperation in your heart to see his
power and presence fall - both in your own life, our
congregation and throughout the city. |
Pray for UNITY within our congregation - that we would be united
in heart and purpose. Ask the Lord to display this unity through
love and grace flowing among the members of the Body.
Ask the Lord if there is any specific person/s you could extend
love and grace to. Ask Him for a specific way in which to carry
this out.
|
Tuesday:
Pray for the FAITH team visits. Ask God to go before
every team member and allow them to make connections
with those who came to our church. Pray for a spirit of
Love to be present during and after the visits. |
Ask the Lord if there is anyone in your life right now who is
struggling in their relationship with Him (or don't know Him)
that He would like you to reach out to. Ask him how? When?
|
Wednesday:
Pray for the Staff of our church: Pastor Mark (and
family). Ask the Lord to bless him in all his efforts
for our church body. June Perez (and family), Rebecca
and Chris Vennetti. That the Lord would fill each one to
overflowing with His Holy Spirit. Pray for the Lord's
protection to cover our staff and their families. Pray
that our staff will be a unified team. Pray that they
will experience God in their personal lives so they are
able to minister out of the overflow of the goodness of
Him. |
|
Thursday:
Pray for UNITY among pastors/churches in our city. Ask
Him to stir repentance and love in the hearts of those
who are His children. Ask Him for unity. |
Pray for President Bush to have strength and wisdom as he leads
our country. Ask the Lord to give wisdom to all our nation's
leadership. Ask for the Lord's hand of protection to surround
our nation at this time.
|
Friday:
Ask the Lord to STIR within you a heart and passion for
prayer. Ask Him to stir with you His HEART and His
VISION for reaching Orlando (which is far greater than
just a church growing larger, but a city TRANSFORMED). |
Ask God how He would have you turn your home into a place of
prayer. If you struggle with praying consistently - have you
tried writing out some specific prayer requests for your
family/friends? Take a moment and do this if you don't already
have a targeted list of prayers for your family/friends. Then
pray through it and begin to look for God's answers to your
prayers! (This can be very exciting as you will see the hand
of God move in response to your faith-filled requests!)
Saturday:
Pray for the anointing of God's Spirit to draw many newcomers to
the service tomorrow. Ask the Lord to bring understanding to
those who have yet to receive Him. Ask for new salvations. Thank
Him for this in advance in faith.
FOR CHURCH: 1. That the compassion and grace of Christ for each other and
for our community would grow in our hearts. Pray that there will
be several people who are lights of his grace and compassion and
that it would grow and spread in our hearts. 2. We really feel that God is asking us to cry out to him for
unity which (requires all "parts" of the body working together,
honoring each other, considering each other equal and no part
more or less valuable; also must have same mission and vision so
that the body is healthy, has the same objectives, and can move
forward because it is working together to go in the same
direction). We really need to pray for unity of heart. The enemy
loves to bring division, and anything that can tear us apart. We
need a great deal of pray for God's love to flow freely among us and for Satan's schemes and plans to be
torn down. 3. Increase the desire and heart to reach out, allowing us to
spread the love of Jesus throughout our communities, into our
neighborhoods and workplaces. 4. Break, bind, and cast off the spirits of apathy, lethargy,
discouragement, unbelief and hopelessness that are influencing
our church; these keep us from desiring to grow spiritually,
from experiencing the presence and peace/joy of Christ in our
lives, from having the desire to serve and minister to one
another and the lost, and limit the power of God from moving
miraculously through us in the areas of evangelism, healing,
deliverance, etc. 5. For God to bring to our church his very best blessings:
spiritually, financially, physically; we especially need his
wisdom for direction of how and where he wants us to move
forward and his power to enable us to do that. 6. Our goals for the "Summer Advance": 250 visitors to our
church and cell groups, 25 people connected into the church and
attending a cell group; increased salvations, people stepping
forward to serve, and increased giving
FOR Pastor Mark: 1. Clear direction and guidance for how to lead the church
(where we are headed, how to get there, how to obtain the
resources needed to accomplish God's will, etc) 2. To be able to rest in God's love, to "walk by faith and not
by sight," to have the power to continue to focus on God and
what He wants. 3. Pray for encouragement and deepening closeness and trust in
the Lord. 4. Pray for my involvement in the work God is doing in the
city. 5. Pray for God's power to be released in the church, the city,
and my life.
FOR THE CITY: 1. Pray for more churches and pastors to see the need for unity
in the body of Christ. 2. Pray that a spirit of prayer to be
poured out over the people of God. We really need people to be
stirred to new levels of prayer all across our city.
